Compendium Toys & Games Burnley
After working at Benns Toy Centre in Burnley town centre for 17 years, I was made redundant when Benns unfortunately closed down in September 2006.
After much deliberation I decided there was a market for certain toys and games, in particular Games Workshop.
My main aim is to specialise in Games Workshop products and activities and have a open and spacious area large enough for some gaming tables for battles and a painting corner where people can come to relax and paint their models.
The reason I wanted to do this was because there is nothing like this anywhere within the surrounding areas and having sold & dealt with all things Games Workshop for so long it seemed like the logical thing to do!
Work began at the beginning of September 2006 & was completed just in time for our opening day 12 November 2006.
